Nex Hostel - Nicosia

I got great value for my money at Nex Hostel. The room was spacious with excellent locker storage. The hostel had a fantastic outdoor common area and a well-equipped kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and options.

The hostel had a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. the beautiful terrace was a great spot to hang out and enjoy the company of others. the location was ideal, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The premises, especially the toilets, were in need of renovation and better maintenance. although the main bathrooms were recently renovated, they were a bit small.

I stayed at Nex for a few nights while visiting the old town. The hostel is new, clean and well situated. Ilias, the host, was very accommodating with my late check-in. The beds were comfortable and the shared kitchen on each floor had everything I needed for cooking. The terrace with a city view and barbecue area is perfect for relaxing. The hostel had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and I enjoyed socializing with other guests. I highly recommend this hostel!

As a student on a budget, finding affordable accommodation with comfort was important to me. Nex Hostel fulfilled the price/quality ratio perfectly. The welcoming staff, easy access with codes instead of keys, and well-equipped kitchen made me feel at home. The comfortable beds, shared kitchen with all cooking essentials, and the terrace with a view were all highlights. The hostel's location near bus stops and a spectacular pastry shop/restaurant added to the convenience. I will happily stay here again.

The hostel offers a big balcony/terrace where guests can relax. In addition, the staff is friendly and responsive, providing guests with the necessary amenities such as bed sheets, towels. There is also a 24-hour convenience store nearby for added convenience.

The hostel could benefit from additional soundproofing measures to minimize noise disturbances from the busy road outside and consider installing blinds to prevent the early morning brightness in the rooms.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and organization of the hostel. the staff were friendly and informative, providing useful travel information. the location was decent, not too far from the city center and in a safe area. the free fruit, tea, and coffee in the kitchen were a nice touch and perfect for those days when I needed a pick-me-up.

It would have been better if it was kept shut to avoid this.
